S-Bound 112

For the skier looking for challenging terrain but not interested in heel lock, Fischer's S-Bound 112 is a ski for linking turns in the backcountry while still maintaining the touring efficiency to get you there and back. Full-length metal edges provide safety, Nordic Rocker Camber helps float when breaking trail or initiating turns, and the Offtrack Crown pattern provides reliable grip and glide. When the uphill gets steeper, available separately, there are two rail options to increase grip. The 50mm or 65mm kicker-style Easy Skin will maintain some glide, but for maximum traction opt for the pre-cut full-length Super Skin. Best suited with 3-pin boots or the new Rottefella Xplore, but no one should be surprised to see a few pairs of 112s with AT Tech bindings. A great ski updated with Xtralite construction to reduce weight.
