It is in the fabric that the real innovation lies. The Woodland Jersey is made entirely of Tencel™ lyocell, a cellulose-based material produced in Lenzing, Austria. The material has an incredibly soft texture, a good fall and gives a cool feeling against the skin.
The wood used in production comes from natural forests and sustainably managed plantations. All Tencel™ fibers are certified with FSC® or PEFC™ to ensure sustainable forestry and the fabric carries the EU Ecolabel. The factory in Lenzig where Tencel™ is produced reuses more than 99% of production water and chemicals. Wood is in itself a renewable raw material and as long as it is not mixed with synthetic fibers it is naturally degradable.
