Expedition 8000 Mitts FW23

Rab's specialist expedition mitts are designed for the most extreme conditions where you can expect the harshest weather and coldest temperatures, whether you're climbing an 8000 meter peak or crossing the polar ice caps. Designed to offer ultimate warmth with low weight and without too much bulk, these are our high performance gloves.

Filled with 850FP goose down on the back of the hand and double-layered PrimaLoft® Gold Insulation on the palm, these gloves have been carefully considered to withstand regular use on expeditions. The outer material is made from weatherproof Pertex® Quantum Pro fabric with a textured leather palm for increased grip and dexterity while being resistant to wear and tear - ideal if you'll be handling ropes and ice tools. They are reinforced in high wear areas with a 70D nylon and lined with a cozy pebble fleece.

The mitts have a low bulk cuff that fits under or over a jacket, with adjustable wrist straps, one-hand pull cords and removable wrist straps.
