With a spindle-shaped, red-stained birch handle and a 2.5 mm thick and 105 mm long carbon steel blade, no task is impossible. The polymer sheath has a polished surface and is adorned with the Dalavapnet (Dala Coat of Arms). It is complemented by a belt loop made of Swedish vegetable-tanned leather, designed to withstand the test of time for generations to come. Carbon steel rusts, so wipe and oil the blade after use. The characteristic craft knives with red-stained birch handles were first introduced about a hundred years ago with the ambition to emulate an exclusive mahogany-handled knife.
