The new design sits closer to the back for increased control and stability, with optimized hip straps and a streamlined back panel. Made with recycled material and PFC-free material, the backpack is CO2-neutral and aims for a completely CO2-neutral production before 2024.
The separate compartment for avalanche/safety equipment provides easy access when needed. With four compartments/compartments, you have plenty of space to organize your equipment. It has many possibilities to attach skis, snowboards or other accessories for adventures.
In the new version of the Ortovox Free Rider, the back protector is separate to give more flexibility in use. For optimal safety, the Ortovox Clasp Spine Protector, sold separately, is recommended. The back rail is placed in a special pocket inside the bag for optimal protection.
The new Clasp Back System provides increased comfort and flexibility, although the safety level is not the same as with the back rail. The Free Rider backpack is perfect for off-piste skiing!
The backpack has a regular fit, suitable for backs between 42-50 cm or for people between 170-200 cm.
