Little Axe

Gränsfors Small ax is the lightest of all the axes from Gränsfors Bruk. The weight makes it excellent for hiking in the woods and fields when every kilo counts. The ax works well for branching and tensioning, despite the small size. The small ax was produced by the blacksmith Lennart Pettersson (LP). Lennart, axsmith, knifesmith and fisherman have striven to produce a very light ax without losing the "axe feel". He has made the neck slightly rounded so that it can function as a "priest" (which is used to hit fish in the head with). The ax is delivered with an edge guard.
