These durable bib pants are made for general outdoor and hiking use and work well for other activities such as dry weather skiing, mountaineering, hunting and longer expeditions.
They are made in a high-quality, durable organic cotton/recycled polyester material, as this material provides an optimal combination of durability, windproofness and ventilation. In addition, the pants are reinforced on the knees and in the seat with a combination of flex1 and dri2 materials for waterproofing, durability and stretch.
The main material is a very durable (295 g/m2) canvas made of 60% organic cotton and 40% recycled polyester. This blend provides the perfect balance between windproofness, durability and ventilation in durable, long-lasting materials. The recycled polyester makes the fabric lighter, more durable and dries faster. In addition, it has PFC-free DWR for extra water repellency.
The reinforcing flex1 material is a weather-resistant 274g/m 90D 100% recycled double-weave flex1 softshell material – a robust quality that's perfect for a variety of activities. It has four-way stretch for optimal mobility and is treated with PFC-free DWR to provide extra water repellency. The 60g/m2 dri2 material has a waterproof rating of 20,000mm with a 20D tricot back to create waterproofing in the reinforced areas.
Key features: Comfortable 38mm elastic shoulder straps, a long two-way front zip with popper, side zip ventilation, back pockets, front pockets, a hidden gaiter hook, an adjustable lower leg with lined gusset, belt loops and laminated zips. In addition, the upper bib pants have three zippered pockets and adjustable straps.
These suspender trousers have a normal fit that is slightly roomier than the Svalbard heavy duty trousers, with articulated knees for better mobility. They can be worn over larger hiking boots.
