These lightweight shell pants are made for year-round mountaineering, but work great for general outdoor activities year-round - from hiking to ski touring. We use a GORE-TEX® material, which is the world's leading membrane for durable waterproofing (28,000 mm), optimized breathability (RET 3-6) and total windproofing. These trousers are made of GORE-TEX PACLITE® PLUS – a soft and light ripstop material with a surface of recycled nylon (30D). They are extremely packable, thin and light, while being durably waterproof, windproof and have excellent breathability. It has printed dots on the back with a 3D function to keep distance from the body and create higher friction and less sticky and more durable inside. The lower part of the leg is made of three layers of GORE-TEX (30D) to increase durability where the trousers usually rub against the shoes. Key features include a Custom-fit waist system™, a zippered leg pocket and a mesh pocket, three-quarter length side zippers for flexible ventilation and quick on and off, a shoe tie, Velcro ankle adjustment and eyelets where you can attach a strap around the shoe for to make sure it is in place. The pants have a technical fit with pre-bent knees for improved mobility.
