A lightweight and insulated jacket for year-round mountaineering that also works perfectly for general outdoor activities, from hiking to ski touring. The surface consists of AeroDownproof material that is windproof, light and soft, with synthetic thermo60 insulation that provides excellent warmth to weight, good packability and insulation even when wet.
the thermo60 insulation used consists of 100% recycled polyester (60 g/m2) which provides excellent thermal insulation and helps the body maintain its temperature, minimizing the amount of energy lost. The main material is a windproof ripstop material in recycled ripstop nylon (20D), while the shoulders, sleeves and hood are reinforced with a light, durable and structured Cordura material in ripstop nylon (30D) for extra protection and durability. Both have PFC-free DWR treatment for extra water resistance.
Key features include a one-hand adjustment hood that can be used with a helmet, a zippered chest pocket, two hand pockets and elasticated cuffs. The jacket has a technical fit with a Y-cut and pre-bent arms that provide good freedom of movement when climbing. The extended bottom edge at the back provides extra protection. It is made to fit over and under the falketind Gore-Tex jacket and has a slightly shorter length.
