Haute Route

The Ortovox Haute Route 38 S and 40 are two backpacks with similar design and features, but with different sizes to suit different needs. Both models are made of durable Cordura® fabric and feature the ergonomic O-Flex-2 back system that distributes weight evenly between the hips and shoulders for increased comfort during long tours. They are also equipped with several practical attachments for skis, ropes, ice axe and helmet net, as well as a dedicated security compartment for emergency equipment.

The biggest difference between the two is the back length and pack volume. Haute Route 38 S has a shortened back system that is specially designed for people with shorter backs and a capacity of 38 liters. High Route 40 has a capacity of 40 liters and is adapted for longer backs. Apart from these differences, the backpacks are identical in function and material, which means that the choice depends on your height.
