Carefully redesigned in 2023 to handle the rigors of belaying on both short winter routes and big alpine walls, the Black Diamond Belay Parka keeps you warm and comfortable while your climbing partner struggles upward.

This is BD's warmest synthetic jacket, featuring 200g Primaloft Rise and Primaloft Gold Cross Core insulation throughout the body, shoulders and hood. The durable, PFC-free 50D ripstop fabric protects against the elements, while a 20D nylon lining provides extra warmth. The two-way zipper makes it easy to access your belay gear, and the spacious pockets – for hands, chest and inside – have space for gloves, water bottles and anything else you might need while climbing.
