lofoten Primaloft80 Anorak is a ski-specific, insulated anorak that is made for extensive use on steep and rugged descents. In this jacket we use the revolutionary, recycled PrimaLoft Gold Airgel insulation which provides an outstanding warmth-to-weight ratio. Airgel is known as the world's lightest solid substance, and with PrimaLoft Gold Crosscore, the substance's fantastic insulating properties are used in outdoor equipment. The lightweight ripstop outer fabric is made of Cordura nylon, which is perfect for rough surfaces and very windproof and water repellent. For added protection, we've also added 2L Gore-Tex reinforcement on the shoulders, lower torso (not on women's models) and cuffs. The result is an anorak that stands up to stress as a stand-alone insulating garment, but which can also be used as a warm and protective mid-layer. There are two-way zippers from the bottom edge all the way to the elbows that provide good ventilation and make the garment easy to put on and take off. Because synthetics don't feel as heavy as down when wet and humid or when it's raining down, this material is perfect for humid conditions where you need warmth. You have plenty of room for your stuff, it has a kangaroo pocket, a chest pocket, two large Napoleon pockets and a phone pocket.
