Norröna's most versatile and flexible insulating shorts.

The main material is easily recycled 20D nylon which is both wind and water resistant. These shorts are easy to pack and surprisingly durable considering their light weight, making them excellent as insulating shorts. The main insulation consists of recycled Thermo40 insulation with Thermo60 in the seat. The Thermo40 insulation provides outstanding warmth even in damp conditions, has a high warmth-to-weight ratio and is the most packable insulation product in our collection.

The shorts are siblings to Norröna's Falketind Thermo60 hoodie, offering the perfect balance of insulation, light weight and packability for the lower body. They work great as a weather-resistant insulating garment, either as outerwear or under shell trousers. A long zipper makes them easy to take on and off without having to remove shoes or pants, and the side zippers are coordinated for ease of use. The shorts can be compressed and packed into a pocket on the thigh, making them very convenient to take with you.

The shorts have a technical fit, but they fit well over trousers or shorts. They reach just above the knee and have a padded front around the hip flexors to keep the insulation in place in this area and provide a natural fit.
