Gränsfors Bruk Ceramic Grindstone

Gränsfor's whetstone consists of ceramic abrasive where the grain structure is designed to best meet the need for a coarse and a fine grind. The coarser side with grain size 180 for damage from slightly rougher wear and a finer side with grain size 600 for fine grinding. The grain composition makes the stone both durable and tough. Unlike natural stone, a ceramic whetstone can be obtained with a more precise grain size. The shape of the stone is round and flat with chamfered edges to give a rounded transition. The fine side makes up 2/3 of the thickness, as that side is usually used and wears the most. The stone is normally used with water, but can be used dry. The brow has a protective rubber shell. Gränsfors Bruk has three different grinding products that are relatively similar to each other. Sharpener, Diamond file and Natural stone sharpener. The big difference between these products is the material, but also the grain size and the shape of the product differ. Which of the products should be chosen has to do with preference and taste.
