XT3 Tour Pro

The Lange XT3 Pro Tour 20/21 is a newly developed dedicated top touring ax that has a 53 degree angle in the walking position without (according to Lange themselves) sacrificing downhill riding properties. The technology is called Dual Core, which means that the shell is cast in two different hardnesses to create the same riding characteristics as alpine boots, but in a significantly lighter construction. Active V-Lock: Involves a piece of plastic at the back that in riding position joins the foot of the shell to its shaft and thus creates the same connection between them as in an alpine ski, with the same flex. In the walking position, the plastic piece is lifted up and creates space for the boot to turn out a full 53 degrees.

The boot has a strong Vibram sole underneath that is compatible with all bindings that pass the ISO 9523 standard, such as Salomon Shift and Marker Duke PT, as well as most tech bindings on the market.
